Sep 17, 2019 · I took my Dana 44 to Moser and had 9 inch ends put on, I then had to have axles made, for the Tru Track diff I was going to use then I had to change the Pinion flange because it was a different spline than the 2.88. all of this is why I decided to use the 8.8 it's a heavy lump but it's cheap has discs, LSD, and if you do it right all ya have to is respline the axles. 60" 60's GMC and some Chevy's Dana 44 or Dana 60 with leaf springs 6 lug, Gear ratio's 3.21 to 3.92. The HD uses a dana 50 based ttb; it has dana 60 "big hubs" that dont step down in size coming out the hole in the rim like dana 44 hubs do and the back of the differential has a 50 stamped on it.
